The Locomotive & Rolling Stock In the Beta you’ll find the iconic EMD SD40-2 locomotive in CSX Transportation’s latest Yn3b ‘Box Car’ Livery alongside two fully functional freight cars, the Bethgon II Coal Car and Autorack Car. The EMD SD40-2’s cab is built for full interactivity, you’ll need to set up the locomotive according to the environment, gradient, length and weight of your consist. Tutorials & Scenarios We have also included three tutorial sessions and two scenarios; Tutorials will teach you how to control the locomotive and interact with the world while scenarios put your new skills to the test with two detailed and rewarding challenges. Introducing Timetables In the Beta, you’ll experience a sample of our amazing new Timetable feature. In the final version of Train Sim World, Timetables will allow you to experience a full 24 hour day of trains over Sand Patch Grade. Don’t Forget Train Sim World is a First Person Train Simulation experience, you can walk around and explore the world and interact with the locomotive, rolling stock and railroad objects on the route, such as Cumberland Yard’s Turntable and Diesel Fuelling Point. Introducing Collectables Train Sim World introduces collectable items for the first time.
