#learntospeckenglishonline Namaskar, myself Devendra Nimkar am presenting myself to you for teaching you to help you teach yourself to speak minimal communicable english. I have had the pleasure to be able to serve under Mr Piyush Vyas at his classes STAR PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT and REAL INTERNATIONAL SPOKEN ENGLISH for a period of over 2 years. I am myself a small businessman. But since a very long time I have been thinking of ways and means to share my limited knowledge with the people of my country regarding spoken English. Finally my friend cum confidante Mr Manish Jariwala came up with an idea of posting spoken English video tutorials online on YOU TUBE so that any person can view these videos and teach himself/herself to speak English online. At least by viewing the video tutorials which I shall be presenting in HINDI our national language people can teach themselves to speak simple english at least making their communication a bit easier. Today all the computers and laptops in India use english language. Resume for job applications are in english, job application forms are in english, milestones on the highways are also marked in english, medical field is immersed in english and many more areas where english is used. In fact in metros the convent educated boys and girls consider speaking in English as a status symbol. I personally feel that if a person is able to speak his/her own mother tongue perfectly then nothing can stop him/her from learninf to speak english. I am not here to tell you that English language is a very great language and one can’t survive without it. But in fact english is the most imperfect language where sometimes certain words with different spelling sound the same and certain words when used in different sentence groups mean different in different sentences. I am not here also to criticize english. I respect all languages equally. But if we go into our history we can see that our nation has been ruled by the moguls for almost 700 years due to which we can see the influence of Farsi and Arabic words in Hindi, currently at least 25% to 30% of words used in Hindi today are from Fars or Arabic. Eg. In Hindi the genuine word for LOVE is PREM or SNEH or ASAKTI, but we use the Farsi word PYAR. In history we have also seen that India was ruled by the British for almost 300 years with an iron hand. The British imposed their language on us as the main media of communication and over a period of time we accepted and adopted English language as our main language ans is used in court proceedings and in government offices and in many other places so much that even the TV commercials are mostly worded in English. Now a days in spite of low education or no education common people have been using english words while speaking normally that too using the words in proper places or sentences without thinking.
