Talk 4.0 Computer Vision and Machine Learning

02.11.2014
This talk is hosted by Cutting Edge Visionaries on October 9th, 2014 at SVNIT, Surat on Computer Vision and Machine Learning. Machine learning is employed in a range of computing tasks where designing and programming explicit, rule-based algorithms is infeasible. Example applications include spam filtering, optical character recognition (OCR), search engines and computer vision. Computer vision is concerned with the theory behind artificial systems that extract information from images. The image data can take many forms, such as video sequences, views from multiple cameras, or multi-dimensional data from a medical scanner. As a technological discipline, computer vision seeks to apply its theories and models to the construction of computer vision systems.
