Follow Thomas the Tank on an epic behind the scenes adventure from the peg in a toy store to a loving home where a young boy takes Thomas on a variety of childhood train adventures and playtime accidents. There are tons of bloopers and fail reel moments seen as the video making process is explained and revealed. The video took 6 weeks to make and it was not shot in sequence. Because the young boy in the film is only 3 years old he was not able to take exact instructions in what to do in a scene. I had to make the playing with Thomas suit the story and make sure I was ready to capture the action. Often a mistake or something unusual made the final cut. The Thomas blinking eyes is explained and the Thomas tear drop ( crying Thomas ) is also investigated. This tear drop was the last scene I shot and the real gamble of the video. In all 150 mins of raw video recording was edited down to 10 mins. The video is divided up into 3 separate acts. The final act is one which could have many endings. I chose the Thomas collection ending because it was something very few people could pull off. This toy story film will make any Thomas fan realize that the love you give a toy is never forgotten by the toy. I hope the video connests to all the Thomas fans and hopefully makes non fans realize the amazing power of Thomas The Tank.
