WIFI Man in The Middle Attack - how to create fake WLAN Access Point to hijack the communication HD

[Enable captions pls] This is short tutorial how to perform "Man in the Middle Attack" on WIFI users by creating fake Access Point which will be used to hijack their communication on the fly. In the video I am using USB Wireless card to intercept the traffic on fake hotspot and laptop built in WIFI module to pass the traffic to Internet. While the traffic is passing through my PC I can observe & record any communication using wireshark / tcpdump. The hotspot user is completely not aware of this activity. This technique is sometimes called "Evil Twin Attack" or "evil twin access point". In my video I was using very underpowered laptop with Intel N4200 CPU that barely could handle video recording with other activities at the same time, so keep that in mind. Even though it was weak , I was able to see the communication, DNS requests etc.. You can even setup fake WWW page by running APACHE svr and create fake DNS entries pointing to localhost. This is how the fake captive portal is created to capture network credentials in Evil Twin AP attack. The operating system used was Linux Mint 20.1 ( based on Ubuntu ) and the software was : DNSMASQ , HOSTAPD, AIRCRACK-NG If you want to do it on your own - pay attention to USB WIFI card type and if it is supported in Kali Linux distributions and if there are "monitor" drivers for it.
