A Tap Water Media Filtration System was shipped to a major company in Mexico in March of 2014. The Tap Water Media Filtration System is actually a series of three media filters. The first is a multimedia filter to reduce turbidity. The second is an activated carbon filter for eliminating organic contaminants. The final filter is a twin-alternating water softener for ion exchange to remove water hardness. The entire system operates at a rate of about 75 gallons per minute, drawing from a municipal tap water feed.
