Defense....?" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~3 years prior~~~~~~~~~~~~ Screams filled the asylum halls and Nicholas couldnt help but smile. Music to his ears. He passed the security guard who kept the patients confined at night, and pass the nurses scurrying past treating their assigned patients. Only the people within these walls understood what happened here, and Nicholas was determined to keep it that way. He continued down the rows of endless doors and never ending white walls into room 666. This was where they kept the most dangerous patients. He violent patients, the most insane. He quickly checked the clip board and slipped quietly into the room without being seen. The guard remained in his seat in the hallway with his arms crossed across his chest. The treatment they did here, was under no circumstances, humane. The guard shook his head and slouched lower in his chair. This was just torturing innocent people that desperately needed help. Husbands sent their wives here when they disobeyed and were kept here when they were clearly healthy. Mental patients raped and murdered nurses. They also died from foreign diseases without real treatment. The guard snickered to himself sarcastically. Most advanced mental institution in the country, indeed. Paul struggled in his straight jacket and straps that were holding him down to the table. "Let me out of this fucking prison. Im not sick!" Nicholas sneered. "Thats exactly what a mentally ill person would say, Mr. Lucas." "You know damn right that Im fine. Ill Kill you." "Settle down, or Ill tighten your restraints." Paul laughed. "Big deal. Tighten them. Go ahead." Nicholas reached over and tightened the restraints to their limit. The belt like strap around Pauls neck cut off his breathing and left his face purple and struggling for another breath of air.
