A hidden gem in North Georgia HD

15.09.2020
FIRST OFF: We titled this “Hidden Gem” because it is on the verge of being shut down. This road is not on a normal map and it is through a rural area with people who moved out here to get away. That being said, the last thing they want is hordes of Jeep clubs coming out and rutting up the roads after a rain. The area around each water crossing is environmentally sensitive and should not be driven on. Perhaps the logs blocking the path and big I beams stuck in the ground was not a big hint… I wanted to take the time to film this trail while Jeeps are still allowed. PM me via the facebook page if you need more info. This video has as much to do with the Jeep trail as it does a warning to fellow Jeepers. “If we fail to learn from the mistakes of our past, we a destined to repeat them” Take care of wheeling areas or they will be gone. To all the people who want to tear stuff up... If you cant take care of the stuff you have you will ruin it for the rest of us. Sorry to harp but if you are not even a subscriber and leave troll like comments they will not be published. If you want to tear stuff up do it on your own land not a protected and environmentally fragile area. There are plenty of places to do that type of off roading - this is not one of them. The area has had a great deal of trouble with this in the past and heavy fines are issued to anyone getting caught off the trail. Once this land was owned by individuals but now is in the hands of the forestry service. Some of the early settlers have been laid to rest in the graveyard at the end. The area had a school, churches and several hundred residents. Unfortunately vandals have not only destroyed the environment but also burnt and destroyed the church and most buildings. The grave yard remains. Come Jeep in February. https://jeepinwithjudd.com/ OUR GEAR: https://www.1995wrangler.com/parts
