Inc. 唄・髙島孝太郎、アコーディオン・髙島雄次郎、ウッドベース・髙島龍三郎、バンジョー・髙島圭四郎、富山県生まれの兄弟4人組ユニット。 The “Tokyo Popular Music Band” is a band consisting of four brothers born in the Toyama Prefecture: Kotaro (vocals), Yujiro (accordion), Ryuzaburo (wood bass), and Keishiro (banjo) Takashima. 平成21年4月に結成、古き良き昭和初期の流行歌にこだわり、上野や浅草などで路上ライブやワンマンライブ、また全国各地でコンサートを実施し、ファンの支持を得ている。 Formed in April 2009, the band focuses on the good old days’ songs from the early Showa era. They have performed live on the streets of Ueno and Asakusa, alone and with other bands, and also held concerts nationwide cheered by many fans. 平成30年には結成10年を迎え、日本の古き良き音楽を歌い継ぐ。 After celebrating the band’s 10th anniversary in 2018, they keep on playing the good old Japanese music.
