Toyota 4runner Tonka HD
As you might already know, Toyota teamed with Funrise Toy Corporation, manufacturer of Tonka toys, to build a life-size Tonka SUV. And this isn’t even the first vehicle of its kind developed by the two companies, as the 4Runner joins the Tonka Tundra fire truck in the 1/1 collection. Elevated by a ten-inch Bulletproof Suspension lift-kit, the 4Runner sports twenty-inch Ultra Motorsports Type 250 Colossus wheels, wrapped in Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ 38×15.50R20LT off-road tires. To put it simply, the car looks more like a toy-car that went through a growth-ray than a 4Runner. In fact, the only thing similar to the production model (except the body), is the stock 4.0-liter V6 powerplant. The custom suspension includes King 8×2.5-inch and 10×2.5-inch coilovers, and a wide array of Bulletproof components. Moreover, Bulletproof was in charge of the vehicle’s welded bumpers, roof-rack, side steps and ladders. To make it the perfect outdoor machine dedicated for kids between ages 8 and 80, Toyota fitted the concept with a pop-up tent and Rigid Industries LED lights over each tire to make the vehicles hard to miss, even at night. music by bensound.com
