Description "Sir Tonka" is a one of a kind horse. His Sire is a registered Saddlebred and his Dam is a Percheron Mustang cross. This unique warm blood type breeding make for strong, big boned legs and amazing athletic ability. He stands between 15.2 -3 hh, though the high carriage of his neck does make him appear taller. He has always been healthy and sound. He does have a scar on the back of his front right foot, but it does not affect him whatsoever. Tonka has been trained professionally using "natural horsemanship methods". He is a 10 year old gelding who rides English or western and has done just about everything, including jumping, hunting and packing out game, miles of trails in the mountains, pushing cows, ect. This boy has a ton of character and heart and loves to jump or go for a ride in the mountains. He is experienced at taking good care of inexperienced riders on the trail, and excels with a more advanced rider in the arena. He has a very good foundation and talent for dressage, hunter jumper and eventing. We would love to show him but are unable to in our stage of life with two young children. He has been a wonderful family horse for us, but after giving it much thought we have decided Sir Tonka deserves to be with a partner that can use him to his potential.
