Alice Macedo: Berklee Two Track | Transformation HD

Brazilian singer/songwriter Alice Macedo performs a cover of "Emoções" by Roberto Carlos and an original called "Light" with her trio. Her story of transformation focuses on a single piece of luggage that has traveled with her through her many moves around the globe. Alice Macedo is a singer from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and a senior at Berklee, majoring in music business/management. She is influenced by the music of her country (bossa nova, samba, and MPB) and other Latin genres, as well as by American pop, R&B, and soul. She has been building this eclectic repertoire ever since she began performing at the age of 6. Her cheerful personality resonates directly with her ability to freely express herself on and off the stage. Two Track is a music video series designed for Berklee’s YouTube and social media channels that features artists in an intimate setting recorded with only one microphone and continuous camera takes. Each recording session will revolve around a single theme (i.e., connection, love, dreams) that can be expressed by the artist either through their track selection or through a short storytelling segment that will be recorded as part of the performance.
