In short, the TOEFL has reduced the number of questions in the speaking section. In the past, there were six speaking questions and now there are only four speaking questions. This video will cover everything you need to know about TOEFL Speaking question #4. This question is exactly the same as question number six in the previous version of the TOEFL. This is an academic reading passage and lecture about a specific topic. Basically, you will listen to an academic lecture about a topic you probably have never heard before. These passages are often from academic fields like biology, psychology, or business. The passage will last between 90-150 seconds. After the passage is finished, you will have 20 seconds to prepare your response and 60 seconds to speak.
