FYI The examples I use in the video and in the illustration are made up by me. 1) USE TEMPLATES In TOEFL Writing I used templates for all my TOEFL essays: one template for the integrated essay and one for the independent essay. A template acts as a support for you throughout your TOEFL essays. In TOEFL Writing you only have a limited amount of time and memorizing a Writing template is the perfect way to deal with that. First, if you use a writing template you will know how to start your sentences. Second, a template helps you structure your TOEFL essay. 2) USE LINKING WORDS In my TOEFL essays I used a lot of different linking words. Linking words are extremely powerful because they boot your TOEFL score. First, if you use a lot of different linking words, you show ETS that you have a broad range of vocabulary and this will get you a higher TOEFL score. Second, linking words help you structure your TOEFL essays. If your essay is well-structured you will get a higher TOEFL Writing score. 3) PARAPHRASE Guys, if you want to improve your TOEFL Writing score you must paraphrase information. In TOEFL Writing you get points for how variable your vocabulary is and how you express your ideas. Therefore, you should not repeat words or whole sentences but paraphrase the information to show that you know the vocabulary to do that.
