As bleak as the Tatooine is in this series, it shifts to a brighter tone in Alderaan as Breha Organa discovers her adopted daughter ran away to the woods. At this point, we see a young Leia Organa climbing a tree and identifying the various spacecraft leaving the planet. Breha arrives and takes her back. While this is happening, a mysterious figure lurks in the woods and observes them. Back on Tatooine, Obi-Wan has just finished his work and is about to go home. All of a sudden, Owen Lars throws the present he gave Luke at the Jedi’s feet and threatens him to stay away from the boy. Kenobi then pleads about his training, an idea Lars rebuffs by mentioning how he trained Anakin back then. But before the moisture farmer can get too far, two inquisitors appear and interrogate the crowd about the Jedi they’re searching for.
