Product Owner vs Scrum Master What is the difference between Product Owner and Scrum Master ? Are they the same thing ? What is the role of a Scrum Master vs Product Owner ? In this video I am talking very high level about the two roles Product Owner and Scrum Master. I am covering the main differences between the two, and what they are responsible for. This video will be useful if you pursue career of a Product Owner or a Scrum Master but not sure which one to choose. Also, if you are already doing one or the other (or both), it will give you a good perspective which are your actual responsibilities. I have been working as a Scrum Master for a long time, I have also played Product Owner role on many occasions. Those two roles are often confused. Sometimes - Product Owner and a Scrum Master is the same person.
