We, Lithuanians, Latvians, and Estonians stand here 25 years onwards – alive, united, strong, and determined to follow the Baltic Way to freedom. Far from being alone, we are more than six million and we are not going to give up. Our hearts are beating in the same rhythm and burning with love for our countries and our nations. The occupation began 75 years ago and lasted for half a century. It could have continued onwards, but not for our nations that demonstrated their awareness of the true value of unity 25 years ago and showed how strong they were. During the ensuing period of freedom we attained much more than in all the years of repression. We forged strong alliances and secured our membership of powerful global organisations. Our states are sovereign and enjoy independence of political decision-making. We have risen from our knees to become better than ever before. Unbroken by any financial crisis, we have performed to the best of our capacity, attaining top results in sports, arts and science. Now, the question is whether you want to follow us on this path. Do you want a free and sovereign country where you feel important and valued? This is the solution for all. This is the way for reaching our tomorrow. This is the way leading our younger generation to future. It is our role to take the nation to a future we are not ashamed of. The strength of a nation is measured by the determination of its people to fend for the national interests. I therefore urge you, Lithuanians, Latvians, and Estonians, to never stop in midway! Let us continue to create our future, let us be resolute masters of our own destiny, let us consolidate our states for the benefit of generations to come!
