The Sazerac
The Absinthe Twins mix a Sazerac. Another recipe from the Absinthe Cocktail Guide by Christian Jaberg using 6 CL (2 shots) Rye Whiskey, 1 D (dash) Absinthe, 0,25 CL (1/2 teaspoon) Sugar Syrup, 0,1 CL (1 dash) Angostura Bitters. Coat the inside of a chilled cocktail glass with Absinthe. Stir whiskey, sugar syrup, and bitters with ice in a mixing glass and strain into the cocktail glass. Garnish with a lemon twist. The Sazerac is a very tasty after dinner drink with a sweet finish and a hint of licorice.
