Method! Grind half garlic-ginger 1/2 inch with ½ cup water finely. Add cooking oil in a pot, add chicken & mix. When the chicken changes its colour little add garlic-ginger water. Mix & cover, keep an eye it will leave its own water and will get dry in it. Mix & add 1ts full salt, chilli flakes each & 1/2ts turmeric. Mix & cover to cook. Mix, add 1-2 cups water so that the potatoes will get cooked. Cover & cook till the potatoes become gravy like and some potatoes should look whole . Add fresh coriander. Chicken 1 md sz cut into pieces. This dish will be nice only when the chicken is good. some chickens will have smell so try to get free range chicken, fresh chicken and whole small chicken. Goes well with boiled rice. Its good for a change To know whether chicken is cooked is to cover it so that it will cook till inside. if you open and cook it remains cooked from outside & raw from inside. Best way to see if chicken is fully cooked or not is from its leg piece. Keep an eye on it. Chicken will be raw until you see dry bubbles & its colour is brown. Low the heat and cover it till it cooks. Then add 3-4 potatoes peeled & cut into cubes.
