Blood gushing, veins cut, painting your bath water red. Why have you called me? Why do you wish to die? Was your life that meaningless to you? Were you that lonely after your lover’s death? Oh, yes, I know all your secrets, I know all the pain you’ve felt after I took their live. I see you in this precious moment. I see you for who you really are--- a child of God, a lost lamb, guided by your grief and suffering. Is this how you’ve chosen your final moments? Alone, depressed, submerged in warm water, hoping to see your loved one one more time. How romantic. How tragic. However, you are not dead yet. Your soul is hanging by a thin thread, a thread I can easily tear if I so desire. But your life is far more precious than you realize. You are meant for so much more than this. Your soul purpose is not to simply die, although all humans are destined to meet such end. You shined so brightly and beautifully, your flame dancing in the wind of time…I cannot let it…die. I have intervened so many times before. I have saved your life over and over. I am your guardian angel as well as the angel of death. I have taken many lives to prolong yours. The fate does not want you here. But I do. You seem perplexed, as you should be. You see, so many children are not meant to be born, so many children know no sin, no sorrow, and no grief. And yet I pity them. It is the greatest gift to be alive, to feel pleasure and pain, to love someone so deeply you’re willing to give your life for them. I see you and I love you, child. You among others have shined the brightest. I cannot let you die. Know that the pain will dull, and this dark chapter will end. You will find happiness. You will live until I’ll take you to heaven by my own doing. But that moment is not now. When you open your eyes you will remember how beautiful the world is… how beautiful you are and those who care about you. Know that I’m always there. Wake up.
