"Anzob" highway tunnel is located on Dushanbe - Tashkent highway which crosses the Hissar mountain range through "Anzob" pass. The Southern and Northern portals of the Tunnel are respectively 73 and 141 Km from Dushanbe. The project consists of two parallel tunnels i.e. Auto - Transport Tunnel (ATT) and Ventilation - Drainage Tunnel (VDT) with a length of approximately 5 Km for each one. The distance between the axes of the two tunnels is about 27 m and there are 26 connecting tunnels with average 205 m intervals which connect the two tunnels all along the way.
