===SERVER OFFLINE=== To play online now, visit http://cncnet/org/ This tutorial will help you to play Dune 2000 online. We are no longer using LAN to play as thanks to DLAriottt, we have a Westwood Online (WOL) server working. For old timers, this means that Alman is back! The server is superior to LAN in any way, including connection quality, speed and features. One good note besides connection stability is the fact that this server has working ladders. If you want to play this game competitively again, like back in 1998-2004, you can do it now! The best part is that we got an automatic installation of dune. This means that you just gotta download a 15 MB installer which will do EVERYTHING for you. It will prompt you to install hamachi (you MUST have this checked - even if u have it, i recommend to reinstall it as it will automatically join our network) and music (additional 46 MB). Once install is complete, the launcher will pop up, and a dialog window will ask you to update. Let it update, then the up-to-date launcher will appear. "Play Online" button will configure your game for Internet, so from here you go Multiplayer, Internet. You do NOT need to register through the button, just put ANY username and ANY password, it will automatically register them for you.
