Customer forgot his efi password and apple was not able to help him. Removing unlocking or clearing the EFI password requires that we desolder the efi chip off the macbook air motherboard, we reprogram the firmware on the EFI chip using EEPROM programmer, then we solder the EFI chip back on the macbook air motherboard We removed the EFI password in this case by replacing the password block of the firmw
