Customer said keyboard and trackpad or touchpad does not work. Macbook air has no sign of liquid damage or any water spill. The keyboard and trackpad are completely and do not function. The first thing we did was replace the the touchpad. On this macbook air model, the keyboard connects to the trackpad and the keyboard connects to the trackpad, so if the trackpad is faulty then neither the keyboard or trackpad will work. Replacing the macbook air trackpad did not work. We inspected the board and found a corroded air that clean and fixed. We still had non functional keyboard and trackpad. Finally we discovered broken pins on the flex cable that connects trackpad to the motherboard. We replaced the cable and both keyboard and trackpad worked.
