The Last Wagon (1956) is one of Delmer Daves finest westerns. Richard Widmark plays 'Comanche Todd', a trapper, who after revenging the murder of his Indian wife and children, leads a wagon train through hostile territory to safety.Solid support comes from Felicia Farr, Timothy Carey, Nick Adams and James Drury, who later went on to acclaim as ' The Virginian'.
