Set the action camera up to continuous lapse and have a time interval of 2 seconds. Every minute the camera will take 30 photos and each photo 5 megapixels. If you record photos for 10 minutes that will be 300 photos and the space for those photos is 1.5 giga. So make sure you have a 32 Gb fast SD card installed. I imported all of the photos into the MOVAVI editor and played about with the duration of each photo, and also applied the Ken Burns effect to make the resulting video more dynamic. Pity the sky was so blue with too few clouds, but nit too shabby for a first attempt.
