madhumasam - manasu mamatha - m.m.keeravani

This song, from the film manasu mamatha, is one of my all time favourites. It is my tribute to Keeravani who has composed many wonderful tunes in the 90s. Unfortunately, most of these tunes have been in movies that have not been commercially successful. How I spotted this song: This song, from his first movie, strangely found place in a cassette released by a 'nameless' music company. I bought it for 10 rupees from a hawker in Besant Road, Vijayawada. When I heard it I fell in love with it instantly. As it happened with many cassettes that I loved, I erased a little portion of this song accidentally. I am sure what I have is the best possible quality one finds on internet. It reminds me of those rainy days in Kharagpur when I would cycle to Tikkas (a tea shop) on sunday afternoons for a cup of tea playing this song in a sony walkman and aiwa headphones.
