[HD] A Great Day on the CSX Mohawk Sub 1/3/15 Part 1 Feat. a Warbonnet, BNSF, NS, OFOX, CN, & HLCX HD
One week after going to Palmer I made a day trip to Amsterdam, NY to railfan the famous CSX Mohawk Subdivision. I arrived there at 6:20am and not long after Q009 showed up catching me off guard. Its power was just three ES40DCs. The next train was K042 a loaded crude oil train with a rare BNSF H3 dash 9 leading with a NS GEVO in second. Not long after him CSX manifest train Q393 appeared with my catch of the year so far. A BNSF dash 9 was leading a patched Santa Fe Warbonnet SD75M (not one of those BNSF fakebonnets, but a true Santa Fe) followed by a OFOX SD40M-2 and a CSX ES40DC. After him an two Westbound intermodals went through. After those two trains K040 showed up with another BNSF dash 9 leading with an ex-BN Executive SD70MAC trailing. Right after him CSX Q620 showed with two Canadian Nationals locomotives for power. After that it was just standard CSX power until a HLCX SD40-2 made an appearance trailing on Q640. The first Amtrak of the day arrived at the station next followed by another pair of intermodals. The Amtrak Maple Leaf arrived after the two CSX trains with Amtrak P42 151 leading with its headlight, ditch lights, and marker lights all turned on. Following behind him were two CSX MOW vehicles one being a Ballast spreader and the other being a special machine that packs the ballast underneath the ties. Not long after they went by Q381 flew past as light power with four different CSX locomotives. That is it for Part 1. Stay Tuned for Part 2. Thanks for Watching!!!!!!!!!
