Make sure you determine what computer your car has. You could do so by opening the hood, removing filter, removing ecu cover and carefully lifting ecu. Look at the picture of the label. In my case, mine was a MSD80. 2. Go to https://www.n54tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29236 READ THIS POST! It is very helpful and important. Explains how everything works. 3. In the website, theres a section that says 12/03/18 Map Release (In Blue Letters). Click it and download it to your tablet. 4. Now You need to unzip the downloaded files. You could unzip it from your tablet with the Winzip app. Sometimes unzipping/Extracting doesn’t work with the tablet. In that case, you could could use your computer to unzip it. Simply download the file again from your computer. Then unzip it in your pc. Then your going to grab an SD Card and put the extracted files in it. Then put the card back into your tablet. Once your tablet reads the card, you could move the downloaded file from your card, to your tablet’s internal memory. 5. Download MHD Flasher from the App Store. 6. Plug in your K+Dkan cable to OBDII port and your tablet. 7. Set JB4 to MAP 0. You do so by pressing volume down and previous track on steering wheel control (Button with arrow down on left side of steering wheel, and button with arrow down on right side of steering wheel). After jb4 map menu pops up, make sure RPM gauge is set at zero. Now you’re in MAP 0! 8. Open up MHD App, do a ECU back up. Then go to “Back end flash”. Then it will send you to the ap store to purchase the license. Keep in mind you only need the back end flash License. The maps are provided FREE in the forum. You should only have to spend $79.99usd. 9. Turn tablet to airplane mode. Exit the car during the flash so you’re not stuck inside. DO NOT open doors. Turn off everything that drags down power. Stereo, lights, climate control etc. 10. Now in the app after you selected “Back End Flash”, make sure to load the right file you downloaded earlier. Match the ECU and the software you want to get. You could chose PUMP ,E85, and RACE. PAY CLOSE ATTENTION for the right one. 11. After you selected the bin file, a menu will pop up, this menu will have other options. You could also control the infamous “Burble” and other things. 12. Flash will take about 20 mins. 13. When is done, unplug everything. Go to your JB4 Steering wheel menu. Select option 4-2. 14.
