British Columbia Aviation Museum: Lancaster FM 104 Report HD
This presentation is a report. For that reason, it has a longer running time so that we can explain what we have done to the front fuselage of FM 104 since moving it into the Restoration Hangar Oct 16, 2018. John Lewis, BCAM President, is the narrator. Special thanks to Colin Bowley for his painting of FM 104 that reminds use of the ultimate goal. 1. Moving the front fuselage into the Restoration Hangar. 2. Creating a work force. 3. Repainting the propellers for a static display, Bill James. 4. Putting plexi-glass in the canopy, Jay Davis. 5. Making the nose turret into a static display. 6. Mapping: Dave Poole does a good job of describing what mapping is. 7. Splitting the nose off. 8. John’s closing thoughts and a short slide presentation of changes to the fuselage.
