Fokker Dr 1 maiden HD

First flight of the foam and tape scratch built triplane, 1.1m main wing 770mm fuselage. DT750 motor, 40A ESC, 4 x HXT 9g servos, Flying weight 1600g with 3000Ah 4S Lipo. It flies beautifully slow and smooth in calm weather but struggles in the wind due to all that drag. Wants to nose over on landing in long grass. Build videos up next.
