Honda Insight: Where is the Alternator? HD

Where is the Alternator on the Honda Insight? I was having troubles with my 12V starter battery not charging after the IMA light came on. My first thought is that maybe it is the alternator? After further research I found that there is no alternator in the Honda Insight. The 12V battery is actually charged through the IMA unit. In this video I show what happens to the battery voltage when the IMA is switched off.
