Dub Reggae, Jaspa Version. Watty Burnett – Too Late (in dub) Tune: Watty Burnett – Too Late (1981) Born Derrick Burnett in 1950, Watty Burnett was also credited as King Burnett. A lot of his work was for Lee Perry at the Black Ark Studio, as a backing vocalist/musician for other acts. He also recorded his own tracks for Perry, but it was during the 1970s that perry teamed him up with Cedric Myton and "Ashanti" Roy Johnson to form The Congos. After a dispute between Myton/Johnson and Perry, The Congos parted ways and Burnett left the group to continue working with Perry. The roots single “Too Late” was released in 1981 on the "Rythm Force Inc" label.
