National Anthem & Flyover Jane Wicker and Charlie Schwenker Tribute 2013 Atlantic City "Thunder Over the Boardwalk" Airshow Boardwalk, Beachfront Atlantic City, New Jersey Wednesday June 26, 2013 http://www.zingeraviation.com This video is divided up in two parts. First, a local high school graduate who is likely going to advance her singing talent in college in Tennessee is seen singing the National Anthem, with the 4CE, made up of Matt Chapman, Rob Holland, and Jack Knutson fly over at the end of the anthem. Following that flyover, we switch gears and get a bit personal. On Saturday June 22, 2013, while performing at the Vectren Dayton Airshow, veteran pilot Charlie Schwenker and veteran wingwalker Jane Wicker were tragically killed while performing at Dayton. You will hear announcer Howdy McCann describe how Charlie and Jane were amazing friends and amazing members of the airshow family and as a tribute to these two great individuals, the GEICO Skytypers flew over in a missing man formation as Taps is being played to honor them. This was a very honorable thing for the Skytypers to do for not just two great members of the airshow family but also two very good friends of mine.
