Snakehead Gudgeon (Giuris margaritacea) is a unique large goby species from West Papua, Indonesia and several other islands nearby. It has spectacular coloration for a large goby. Male will show red coloration with yellow and blue pattern. Female tend to be yellow in colour while some are brown. # Habitat: Snakehead gudgeon is very flexible species that can live in both marine, brackish and freshwater. It inhabits sandy bottom areas and often found hiding in between rocks. # Water parameter: pH: 7.0-7.5 TDS: 150-250 ppm Temperature: 24-26°C # Max length: 30 cm Usual size on trade: 10-20cm # Characteristic: The Giuris margaritacea is a peaceful goby that is suitable for medium to large tank.
