Custom Leader-Class Optimus Prime HD

A heavy repaint of the 2017 leader- class figure from Transformers The Last Knight. I used Apple Barrel brand Acrylics for the robot mode, applying Jet Black as a primer, followed by Gunmetal for the base coat, and Metallic Sterling Silver for the primary coat. The Gold and Silver detailing was done using Elmers Acrylic paint markers, while using Apple Barrel and Folk Art Acrylics for the rest. The robot mode paint apps are clear coated using Plaid Acrylic Gloss Sealer. I used Rustoleum Metallic Chrome for plastics on the chrome areas in truck mode, as well as the Elmers paint markers for details. I painted the truck chasis in Jet Black, and the Blue stripe on the hood was done with a Blue paint marker. The running lights were all done in Folk Art Metallic Sapphire Blue. No clear coat was used on the truck mode. I use Royal Brush synthetic paint brushes.
