S&W M&P Pro Series: Long Slide Combat HD

Going up against the also excellent Springfield XDM 5.25 and Glock 34/35, I bring to the table 3 years of shooting the Smith and Wesson M&P Pro long slide series. Featuring 5" barrels in 9mm or .40 S&W, these guns are intended as competition guns. A POU discussion addresses this along with tactical use and the advantages the longer form factor brings. Other specifics such as firepower, ergos [especially the sights which caused all shooters problems], weight/balance, durability, and value are also shown and discussed. Once fitted with the shown Warren Tactical Savigny sights, this S&W M&P9 Pro came together and became another Hall of Fame long slide. The ergos on the M&Ps are different however and some shooters have problems adapting [shown]. Popular in competition and in some circles as a GTW option, the M&P Pro is a proven and deadly performer.
