Please remember to Like, Comment, Share and Subscribe! This review of the Honda VFR 1200 comes after 35,000 miles in a little under 3 years. The 2012 Honda VFR was purchased new in June 2014. The VFR comes stock with 144 horsepower! It is a monster. I quickly swapped the stock exhaust with a Two Brothers exhaust and changed the windscreen to the Zero Gravity touring smoked windscreen. After a year and half I installed Helibars which brought the grips up 2 inches and back 1 inch. The Helibars helped the comfort level a lot. I made some other changes so improve the comfort for my long trips. I have ridden the VFR to Colorado (Million Dollar Highway, Silver Thread, Independence Pass, Pikes Peak, Mt. Evans…), Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Arkansas. I have ridden the VFR in North Carolina and Tennessee including the Tail of the Dragon, Moonshiner 28, Wayah Road and the Cherohala Skyway. The VFR handles great and has a lot of power, especially after I sent the ECU to Guhl Motors for a reflash. This Ordinary Biker is very happy with the Honda VFR motorcycle.
