Special Guest Artist is Faith Ringgold! Light of the Ancestors exhibition enlightens audiences of the exquisiteness of the people of the African Diaspora. As a beacon of light and hope for Black History month sixty-eight artists express how the ancestors have inspired and uplifted them. Ethnic oppression is a hot topic, alongside dark and ignorant rhetoric especially during this month. To flip the script, this colossal exhibition of one hundred works of art show wonderful expressions of each artist’s "Light," spaced out over a 4,000sf gallery. This show is a place where audiences can come for balance and see the "Light" and authentic beauty of African American inspiration. 100 works of art.
