The Turnaround story of Vadinar Refinery HD

For 30 days, the Vadinar refinery underwent massive inspection and maintenance work as part of a shutdown that was planned months in advance to optimise operational efficiencies. During this period, over 27,000 people—95% of whom were contract workers specially enlisted to take on the extraordinary workload—were engaged in round-the-clock operations. With the refinery re-opening on 18th October 2015, we take you back in time to experience all the action that went into this phenomenal activity.
