2014 Turnaround - Nyrstar Hobart, #5 Roast Acid Plant

The 2014 Turnaround has been run and won and for those of you who are interested to see a bit of what goes into executing a successful Turnaround we have put together this short documentary. Here are some stats from the Turnaround: - Over 12 months planning - $6.5m Budget - 21 Day execution period working around the clock - More than 300 people involved with the Turnaround - Over 31,000 person hours worked across the 21 days - No reportable injuries incurred - $9,000 raised for the Cancer Council of Tasmania through our Environment and Safety Incentive Scheme The #5 Roast Acid Plant was brought back online ahead of schedule and the project came in under budget. Going forward, we believe that the work carried out during the 2014 Turnaround leaves the #5 Roast Acid plant is in a great position for the years to come. An outstanding effort by everyone involved.
