Volcanoes talk to trees - Fiona DArcy - McGill University HD

My name is Fiona D’Arcy and I am currently finishing my MSc under the supervision of Dr. John Stix in the Earth and Planetary Sciences department of McGill University. I expect to graduate in June 2018 and start my PhD in volcanology in Fall 2018. I have always loved science and research, and chose to continue my studies after completing my Honours BSc in Geology with minor in physics from uOttawa. I am grateful for the NSERC-CGSM and NSERC CREATE grants which have supported my masters research, and look forward to one day becoming a professor and Canada Research Chair!
