Halliburton Introduces WiFire™ Acoustic Firing Head

Halliburton developed the WiFire Acoustic Firing Head after collaborating with a customer who required a solution to reduce or eliminate the risks and limitations of conventional pressure activated firing heads regardless of well depth or deviation. The technology works by activating perforating guns via a wireless signal sent through Halliburton’s RezConnect® well testing system, which provides real-time multizone testing capabilities to improve efficiency, reliability and lower costs.
