Troubleshooting CNC controller - CNC Lathe Fix pt1 HD

My 9x20 HF lathe with Hobbycnc controller was only moving the Z axis in one direction. With some advice from doorknob on cnczone, I found the problem....the onboard parallel port. Not as in depth as I originally planned, but hopefully this will offer another possible fix for someone having a similar problem.
