After serving in WWII Charlie Ripper settled down in La Grange, Texas, where he was a barber for over sixty years. Now, retired and 94 years-old, he makes the trek from his home to Monument Hill Nursing Center to cut hair for the male residents, many of whom served during WWII as well.
