You need to learn to play with the keybord for the majority of your shortcut. You will be a lot faster and you will increase your APM by playing like this. This guide is really usefull for beginners A really important point is that hotkeys are personnal. Never copy another player and configure them for you. There is no good way to configure them. Another point : You need a minimum of 3 control groups : Army, Bases and buildings. Other hotkey are optionnal and you can reach a high rank without them.
