Goshawks the first 61 days from hatching to fledging | RSPB Abernethy Forest, Scotland HD

Northern Goshawks, young goshawks.. How to do them justice: They can be beautiful, cute and ferocious at the same time. It’s been an amazing adventure seeing these awesome birds grow up. The care of the parents, getting more anxious bringing prey the older the chicks get and the kids fighting for food.. but also cuddle together. And on the other hand, the strange behavior when a chick has the upper hand and the other turn their back, letting the winner eat in peace… until it lets go of the prey, then the fight begins again. This video tells the story of the 61 first days, from hatching to first branch, to leaving the nest altogether until the parents stop bringing food. The video was made using clips from scyllabub, L L, Edith P and myself captured from the Goshawk Live Nest Cam 2022 at RSPB Abernethy Forest, Scotland.
