camera trap 16 07 16

In July 2016, camera traps we donated to the Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre UTYOS a couple of years ago recoded quite interesting video. First we see an anxious female roe deer apparently sensing danger. Later, a pair of majestic Amur tigers looking for a prey to feed themselves and, who knows, their little cubs. Then? See the video for yourselves and tell us what you think the story was! UTYOS is a unique center, that rescues and rehabilitates wild animals, such as bears and tigers, releasing them into the wild, when possible. The Center is located in the Russian Far East and contributes immensely towards preserving the biodiversity of the region. Only a little over 400 Amur (Siberian) tigers are believed to remain in the wild today, with more than 90% inhabiting Sikhote -Alin region, where UTYOS was built. Big Hearts foundation has been working with UTYOS for a few years now, supporting their precious work and raising awareness of this unique and important place.
