First time feeding kangaroos and holding koala. Cleland Wildlife Park is located in the Adelaide Hills, South Australia about 22 kilometres (14 mi) south-east of the Adelaide city centre. Cleland Wildlife Park is popular tourist destination of Mount Lofty summit and Waterfall Gully. The conservation park was named for Sir John Burton Cleland (1878-1971), a renowned naturalist, microbiologist, mycologist and ornithologist, and member of the Royal Society of South Australia. Some animals that roam freely in the Park are; marsupials such as koalas, kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, bettongs, and potoroos dingoes and Tasmanian devils, native birds, water birds and forest birds plus snakes, reptiles and echidnas.
