Kill Zone 1 and 2 (2005, 2015) - Hong Kong Movie Review HD

Erik, the Asian Movie Enthusiast presents: A spoiler-free review of “Kill Zone” from 2005 and “Kill Zone 2” from 2015. These are also known as “SPL” and “SPL 2: A Time for Consequences”, respectively. Both are action films from Hong Kong. In “Kill Zone”, a group of cops (led by Simon Yam and Donnie Yen) who will stop at nothing to take down a vicious crime boss (played by Sammo Hung) and his vicious assassin (Wu Jing). In “Kill Zone 2”, an undercover cop (played by Wu Jing) infiltrates a crime syndicate which has been kidnapping people and sending them to Thailand, where the victims are killed and have their organs sold in the black market. Unfortunately, his cover is blown and he is sent to a certain prison where the wardon (Jin Zhang) is in league with the crime boss. Meanwhile, one of the security guards at the prison (played by Tony Jaa) reluctantly follows the wardon’s orders. Great action flicks.
